Off to a 3-1 start in non-conference play, Wayne State opens Northern Sun Conference play Tuesday evening hosting Augustana in Rice Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.  The Wildcats go back to non-conference play Saturday afternoon traveling to in-state rival Nebraska-Kearney for a 4 p.m. contest in Kearney.  Wayne State is coming off a 87-84 non-conference win at Newman in Kansas Thursday.  Augustana is 1-3 following a split at the East/West Challenge over the weekend - beating South Dakota Mines 91-74 and losing to #17 Black Hills State 75-71.  Nebraska-Kearney is 2-3 on the season and will face Hastings College Wednesday afternoon before battling the Wildcats.    Last season, WSC and Augustana split with each team notching road wins - Augustana won 65-59 in Wayne and WSC won in Sioux Falls 54-48.  The 'Cats edged UNK in last year's lone meeting played in Wayne 65-64.
