Wayne State opens Northern Sun Conference play Tuesday evening hosting travel partner Augustana at 5:30 p.m. followed by a return to non-conference play Saturday afternoon visiting Nebraska-Kearney in a 2 p.m. contest.  The Wildcats are off to a 4-0 start picking up three wins over MIAA teams and coming off a 95-53 win over Chadron State in the home opener Saturday.  Augustana is 2-2 coming into Wayne Tuesday night while Nebraska-Kearney has a 3-4 record when they face WSC Saturday.  Last season WSC won both matchups against Augustana - 72-68 in Sioux Falls and 62-55 in Wayne - while the Wildcats defeated UNK in the first meeting between the two clubs since 2019 with a 67-57 win in Wayne.
