Wayne State returns to Northern Sun Conference play this week as the Wildcats host Sioux Falls Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday afternoon road trip to Marshall, Minnesota to battle Southwest Minnesota State at 2 p.m. The Wildcats wrapped up the non-conference slate Monday with a 97-50 home win over Hesston along with a 62-59 setback at Nebraska-Kearney Saturday. WSC is 4-3 overall and 0-1 in NSIC play. Sioux Falls comes into Wednesday's contest at 2-4 and 0-1 in the league while SMSU starts the week with records of 2-3 and 1-0 in the NSIC. Last season WSC and USF split with the road team winning each time - WSC won 66-61 in Sioux Falls and USF won 78-68 in Wayne. The 'Cats and Mustangs also split last season with the home team winning each time - WSC 69-67 in Wayne and SMSU won 76-56 in Marshall.
