The Wayne State women's basketball team resumes play following the holiday break Saturday afternoon with an NSIC South Division contest at Augustana in Sioux Falls.  Tip off in the Elmen Center is set for 3:30 p.m.  The Wildcats enter the 2026 portion of their schedule at 6-7 overall and 1-6 in the NSIC while Augustana is 4-8 and 1-6 in the league and faces Hastings College on New Year's Eve at 12 p.m. before battling the Wildcats Saturday.  In the first meeting this season between the two clubs played in Wayne on November 25th WSC outlasted the Vikings in double OT 78-76.
