The #17 Wayne State College volleyball team used 17 kills each from junior

Delaney Miller as the Wildcats registered a 3-1 NSIC volleyball road win at MSU Moorhead Saturday afternoon. Scores of the match were 25-21, 25-22, 21-25 and 25-18. The 'Cats are now 8-2 and 2-0 in the league with the host Dragons dropping to 7-3 and 1-1 in NSIC games.
The first set saw WSC post a 25-21 win thanks to 16 kills and a .424 hitting percentage. There were seven ties and three lead changes in the opening set.
MSU Moorhead was able to even the match in the second set with a 25-22 set win, recording 20 kills in the set.
Wayne State never trailed in the third set, recording 20 kills to win the set 25-21 and take a 2-1 lead in the match.
The 'Cats hit a sizzling .486 in the fourth set with 19 kills and just two errors as WSC closed the match with a 25-18 set win.
WSC ended the match hitting .349 with 64 kills and just 12 errors on 149 attacks. MSUM hit .242 with 59 kills and 21 errors on 157 swings.
Robles and Miller each had 17 kills to power WSC in the win.
Mattie Kamery added 11 kills.
Chloe Hanel had nine to go with five solo blocks for the 'Cats. Libero
Anna Borner had 16 digs followed by Kamery with 13. Setter
Molly Romano handed out 44 set assists and had 10 digs for a double-double.
Wayne State begins a four-game homestand Tuesday evening hosting Augustana in an NSIC match at Rice Auditorium starting at 6 p.m.
