Thanks to three home wins last week that included a reverse sweep over then #16 Minnesota Duluth, the Wayne State volleyball team has moved up five spots to ninth in this week's AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll announced Monday afternoon. The 11-2 Wildcats, 5-0 in the NSIC, collected 718 points in voting by various Division II coaches from across the nation.
Wayne State is at home Tuesday evening hosting Briar Cliff in a non-conference match at 6 p.m. followed by NSIC road games this weekend at Winona State Friday night (6 p.m.) and #11 Concordia-St. Paul Saturday at 5 p.m.
