The Wayne State women's basketball team returns to Rice Auditorium this weeken as the 'Cats host Northern State Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the University of Jamestown Saturday at 5:30 p.m. as NSIC cross-division play takes up the January schedule.  During Friday's home games Wildcat fans will be entertained at halftime with a performance featuring Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act - seen on such shows as America's Got Talent, The Go Big Show, ESPN and Ripley's Believe it or Not!
WSC is 6-8 and 1-7 in the NSIC South following last Saturday's 74-68 road loss at Augustana.  Northern State comes to Wayne at 8-6 and 3-5 in the NSIC North while the Jamestown Jimmies start the weekend with records of 4-8 and 2-6.  Last season, WSC went overtime to down Northern State in Wayne 87-82 while the 'Cats and NSIC newcomer Jamestown have met just once all-time with WSC winning 65-56 during the 2016-17 season.
