Following a one-week hiatus, the Wayne State football has re-entered the latest AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday morning at #25. It's the third national ranking for the Wildcats in the last four weeks. WSC collected 40 votes in this week's poll from a panel of 30 coaches nationwide.
Wayne State improved to 7-2 on the season (6-2 NSIC/3-1 NSIC South) with a 54-14 home win Saturday over Concordia-St. Paul. The Wildcats are home again this Saturday for the annual Egg Bowl/Senior Day Game at Bob Cunningham Field hosting Sioux Falls (6-3, 6-2 NSIC/2-2 NSIC South) starting at 1 p.m.
