Biography

2018:  Was named Second Team All-NSIC for a second season to go with NSIC Gold Glove Honors at catcher after batting .377...tied for team lead in hits (60) and led the team with 36 runs scored and a perfect 18-18 on stolen bases...had 17 multi-hit games and seven multiple RBI contests to rank second on the team in both categories and ended the season with a team high streak of 18 straight games reaching base safely...was 4-5 with two runs scored vs. Lewis (Ill.) on 3/7/18...homered in both games vs. #13 Minnesota State (3/29/18) going 4-9 with three RBI...was 2-3 with a homer and three RBI in 10-7 win vs. Sioux Falls (4/11/18)...voted Most Valuable Player of the team...received the NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award and was repeat selection to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team...voted Google Cloud Academic All-District VII First Team and was later named Google Cloud Academic All-American Third Team with a 3.92 Grade Point Average majoring in Chemistry/Health Science...also received the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete Award.

2017: Named Second Team All-NSIC after leading WSC in most offensive categories...hit .331 with team-high 56 hits, 32 runs scored and 13 stolen bases along with five triples, five homers and 21 RBI...tied for second in the NSIC in triples and led WSC with 16 multi-hit games...was 2 for 4 with two triples and three RBI in 7-6 loss to #15 West Virginia Wesleyan (3/5/17)...went 5 for 8 with five runs scored vs. Minot State (4/8/17) and was 4 for 7 with a double, triple and two RBI at Concordia St.Paul on 4/1/17...was 2 for 3 with a homer and three RBI vs. Northwest Missouri State (3/17/17)...homered in back-to-back games at MSU Moorhead and Northern State and was 3 for 4 with a homer vs. St. Cloud State (4/29/17)...was repeat selection to NSIC Spring All-Academic Team and was named NFCA/Easton Scholar Athlete.

2016:  Made 48 starts (46 at catcher) while playing in 50 games, batting .296 with eight home runs and 43 RBI...ranked second on the team in home runs, RBI, stolen bases (9-10) and putouts (239)...had 13 multi-RBI games and 13 multi-hit contests...had season-high four RBI, going 2 for 4 with two runs scored in 11-2 win over Northern State (4/2/16)...homered in both games of sweep vs. Minnesota Crookston (4/9/16)...was 3 for 5 with homer, three RBI and three runs scored in 9-8 win over Augustana (3/22/16) and went 3 for 4 with homer and three RBI vs. Mary (3/24/16)...named to the Capital One Academic All-District VII First Team and NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2015:  Appeared in 14 games with one start at shortstop, going 2 for 7 at the plate with one RBI and three runs scored...was 1 for 1 with an RBI as a reserve catcher vs. St. Thomas Aquinas (3/8/15) and 1 for 1 with one run scored at Minnesota Crookston (4/12/15)...scored runs as a pinch runner vs. Missouri Southern (3/20/15) and at Northern State (4/4/15).

High School: Graduate of Scribner-Snyder High School.. was a multi-sport standout in softball, basketball, and track and field...as a senior Wobken hit .425 with 54 hits and 58 runs scored for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder to earn Class C First Team All-State honors from the Lincoln Journal Star and Second Team All-State honors from the Omaha World Herald... was a four year starter in softball and holds numerous school records including career average (.438), career hits (176), homeruns (14), runs scored (160) and stolen bases (21)...is a four time All-East Husker Conference selection and two time Class C First Team All-State honoree in softball and an All-Conference selection in basketball three seasons and three year state track qualifier... Wobken also excels in the classroom earning Academic All-State three years....played for the Red All Stars in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star game, recording a double and scoring the team's lone run in a 3-1 loss in first game of double header.

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Roni Wobken... born September 19, 1995.. majoring in pre-medicine.
