2012: Nurton started all 51 games for the Wildcats in centerfield during her junior season...hit .293 in 116 at bats with 34 hits, one double and five RBI's with 17 runs scored...had seven multi-hit games and also had the fourth longest hitting streak on the team with seven straight games...went a perfect 3-3 with one RBI and one run scored vs. Southern Connecticut State on March 7th.

2011: Started all 54 games in center field and hit .235 with two doubles and three RBI's...led the team in stolen bases going 10 for 11...had seven multi-hit games with season high three hits at Colorado Mines on 2-19-11...scored two runs twice this season, at Colorado Mines (2-19-11) and vs. St. Cloud State (4-18-11)...made only two errors in center field all season with 60 putouts...tied for team lead with nine sacrifice hits...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2010:  Finished stellar freshman season with a .310 average with no homers and five RBIs...ranked fourth on the team in hits with 52 and was fourth in runs scored with 30...finished the season strong going 13 for 30 at the plate in the NSIC and NCAA Tournaments...was Wayne State's top hitter at Super Regionals going 5 for 8 with two runs scored...tied for third in multiple hit games with 13...was selected Second Team All-Central Region from Louisville Slugger/NFCA.

High School: Graduate of Omaha Marian High School...was a four year starter who led Class A in hitting as a senior with a .512 average...earned First Team Class A All-State and Second Team All-Nebraska honors as a senior with 44 hits, 26 runs scored and 16 stolen bases...was a First Team All-Metro Conference selection as a junior and senior...also excelled in track and field, qualifying for state three years.

Personal: Daughter of Darrell Nurton and Carol Rhodus...born on February 6, 1991...majoring in applied human and sport physiology at WSC.
