2013: Appeared in 12 games and started 10 on the mound for WSC with two complete games...had a personal record of 2-5 with a 3.18 ERA...led the team in strikeouts with 68 while only giving up 11 walks in 62.1 innings of work...had three straight 10 strikeout performances mowing down 10 batters against Sioux Falls, Minnesota Duluth and Northern State...also struck out nine batters while only allowing three hits to Minnesota Crookston on 3-30-13 to give him 39 strikeouts in four games.

2012: Appeared in 10 games and started six for the Wildcats on the mound...held a 3-2 record and notched one save with an ERA of 3.56 in 43.0 innings pitched...retired 35 batters via strikeout and allowed 12 walks while surrendering 51 hits and 19 runs (17 earned)...pitched 3.1 innings and struckout five batters to record his first save of the season on 2-26-12 vs. Augustana in a 7-3 win for WSC...fanned eight batters in 5.2 innings of work on 4-14-12 at Northern State. 

2011: Appeared in 11 games with nine starts, going 3-3 with a 6.13 ERA...had three complete games and one combined shutout...had complete game nine inning with with five strikeouts to win 6-3 at Concordia-St. Paul on 4-23-11...had season high six strikeouts in three innings of relief in 7-0 win at Minnesota Crookston on 5-3-11...had complete game win (13-2) vs Northern State on 4-2-11...ranked fourth on the team in innings pitched with 47 and allowed 62 hits and 42 runs (32 earned) with 31 strikouts and 16 walks.

2010: Sat out season as a redshirt.

2009: Had stellar freshman season as mid-week starter for the Wildcats, going 6-0 with 5.12 ERA in 11 appearances with eight starts...pitched 31 2/3 innings, allowing 38 hits and 22 runs (18 earned) with 18 strikeouts and seven walks...opponents hit just .288 vs. Schwieger...struck out season-high five batters in five innings of work, allowing just two hits and one run in 7-1 win over St. Cloud State on 4-30-09...one week earlier at St. Cloud State, also pitched five innings, allowing just two hits and one run in 9-1 win over Huskies...allowed just one hit in five innings of work in 15-3 win over Morningside on 3-17-09...in NSIC play, went 3-0 in four starts with 3.77 ERA.

High School: Graduate of Grand Island High School where he participated in football, basketball and baseball...earned Second Team All-State honors in the Omaha World Herald...helped his team to the best record in school history and also the first ever State Tournament win in school history.
