2009: Earned First Team All-NSIC honors for the third straight season, was named to the Daktronics All-Central Region Team and was also named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region Team...was named Preseason All-American by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper...played in 50 games with 49 starts for the Wildcats...hit .341 with 12 homers and 64 RBI's for the 'Cats in 2009...became the all-time doubles leader at WSC with 53, moved into third place on the career RBI's list with 181 and moved into fifth place in career hits with 217...had 41 RBI's in conference play (1st-NSIC)...also had five sacrifice flies (1st-NSIC), 11 doubles (T-4th-NSIC) and ranked seventh in the conference in slugging percentage (.730) in NSIC contests...drove in 18 runs during Wayne State's four-game series with Minnesota, Crookston on 5-2-09 and 5-3-09, including a 4 for 5 performance with two homers, two doubles, two RBI's and two runs scored in WSC's 16-0 win over the Golden Eagles on 5-3-09...named to the 2009 NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2008: Selected First Team All-NSIC for the second straight season and earned Second Team Rawlings/ABCA All-Central Region honors after leading Wayne State in hitting with a .420 average...finished the season with six homers and 46 RBI's with 99 total bases...selected to the 2008 NSIC All-Tournament Team...Koch's .420 average ranked third in the NSIC and his 71 hits were second-most in the NSIC...had a nine-game hit streak to open the season and finished the year hitting in final eight games in a row...tied for team lead with Marc Manganaro with 24 multi-hit games, including a 4 for 6 performance with four RBI's and two doubles in 19-5 win over Northern State on 4-13-08...had season-high five RBI's in 12-2 win at Southwest Minnesota State on 4-16-08 after going 2 for 4 with homer and double...went 3 for 3 with homer and two runs scored vs. Central Missouri in NCAA Central Regional opener on 5-15-08.
2007: Named First Team All-NSIC Desginated Hitter and also named to the 2007 NSIC All-Tournament Team. Appeared in 41 games with 40 starts hitting .321 with four home runs and 43 RBI...ended the season with a nine-game hit streak...had 13 doubles and 29 runs scored in 137 at bats...had two 3-hit games, going 3 for 4 vs. Missouri Western on 2-27-07 and vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 4-12-07...hit go ahead two-run homer in sixth inning at Bemidji State in 5-4 win on 4-29-07.
2006: Hit .338 with 46 hits iin 136 at bats, playing in 42 games with 40 starts....had 14 doubles, two doubles and 28 RBI's....had 14 multi-hit and six multi-RBI games.....went 2 for 4 with five RBI's vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 3-26-06 and was 3 for 6 with three runs and four RBI's vs. Augustana on 4-5-06.
High School: Attended Millard South HS where he helped his team win a district championship. . . All-Conference, Second Team All-Metro and All-State honorable mention as a senior.
