Biography

2013-2014: Started all 33 games at forward averaging 8.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest, shooting 45.1 percent from the field (83-184), 40.4 percent from the 3-point line (44-109) and 77.4 percent at the free throw line...finished Wildcat career with 103 wins, the most of any player in school history, and ranked seventh on the all-time rebounding list with 744...was named to the North Star Invitational All-Tournament Team in Alaska after averaging 14 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in three wins...had four double-doubles on the season and had eight games with 10 or more rebounds...scored season high 20 points with nine rebounds at Minnesota State (1/18/14)...grabbed career high 13 rebounds twice this season, at Sioux Falls (12/6/13) and vs. Minnesota Crookston (1/10/14)...ranked ninth in the NSIC in rebounds per game...selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2012-2013: Started all 27 games at forward for WSC during junior season...was third on the team in scoring with 264 points to average 9.8 per game...led the Wildcats in rebounding with 198 (160 defensive, 38 offensive)...averaged 31.3 minutes per game while shooting 41.1% from the field (83-202), 32.7% from the 3-point line (33-101) and shot 79.3% from the free throw line (65-82)...her 7.4 rebounds per game ranked her 10th in the NSIC in rebounds per game and was tied for eighth in steals per game with 2.00...led the Wildcats with six double-doubles on the year highlighted by a 16 point, 12 rebound performance vs. Minnesota State on 1/5/13...scored a career high 21 points at MSU Moorhead on 2/9/13...set a career mark of 13 rebounds in a game vs. Minnesota Duluth on 2/2/13...had a season high six steals vs. Univeristy of Mary on 1/19/13...named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team for a second straight year.

2011-2012: Started all 35 games for Wayne State during sophomore season while averaging 6.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game...leads the team in free throw percentage shooting 81.7% (58-71) from the free throw line and is first in field goal percentage at 50.3% (74-147) while ranking second on the team in both rebounds (224) and minutes played (1,021) while ranking fourth in points with 235...netted a career high 17 points at Augustana on 1-14-12...recorded a double double on 2-24-12 at Minnesota, Crookston with 12 points and 11 rebounds...grabbed a career high 11 rebounds twice this season...has had double digit points in eight games and double digit rebounds in seven games this season...ranks 10th in the NSIC in defensive rebounds (4.58), 15th in rebounds (6.1) and is 22nd in minutes played with 28.90 per game...received NSIC Winter All-Academic honors.

2010-2011: Appeared in 29 of 30 games for the Wildcats as a true freshman...averaged 2.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game while playing 9.7 minutes per game...shot 44 percent (22-50) from the field, 34.6 percent (9-26) from the three point line and 69.2 percent (9-13) from the charity stripe...had season-high seven points, six rebounds and three assists against Upper Iowa on 1/22/11...also netted seven points against Minnesota State on 2/5/11...also grabbed six boards against Minnesota State (2/5/11) and Minnesota, Crookston 3/2/11...played a season-high 21 minutes against Winona State on 1/21/11.

High School: Graduate of Ames High School where Hansen was a three sport standout in cross country, basketball and track and field...in senior season averaged 9.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.33 steals per game for Ames HS, shooting 52 percent from the field and 83.7 percent from the free throw line...as a junior posted 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals per game helping Ames HS reach the Class 4A State Championship game...also excelled in cross country where she was All-Conference four years and All-District two seasons...was a four time All-Academic selection in cross country and a three year state track qualifier.

Personal: Parents are John and Cindy Hansen...born November 25, 1991...majoring in sport management at Wayne State College.
