2015:  Made seven appearances with six starts on the mound, posting a 4-2 record with a 6.60 ERA...had one complete game, firing 30 innings...gave up 43 hits and 28 runs (22 earned) with 23 strikeouts and 13 walks...struck out season-high eight batters in 6 2/3 innings in 7-3 win over Ohio Dominican (3/10/15)...worked season-high seven innings in complete game 10-4 win over Minot State (3/22/15)...allowed two unearned runs in six innings of 5-2 win over Northern State (3/29/15).

2014: Sat out season as Medical Redshirt.

2013: Appeared in 14 games with eight starts at designated hitter while also pitching in eight games with eight starts...had eight hits in 33 at bats for a batting average of .242 with one homerun, three RBI's and one run scored...best performance at the plate was a 2-4 outting with a solo homer, one RBI and one run scored...went 5-3 on the mound with a 2.96 ERA allowing 17 runs (17 earned) in 51.2 innings pitched...struck out 62 batters and surrendered 39 hits while walking 14...had three games with double-digit strikeouts highlighted by an 11 K performance on 3-7-13 against Grand Valley State...also logged a complete game nine inning win over #10 Minnesota State on 4-28-13 with nine strikeouts while allowing five hits and one earned run.

2012: Started six games on the mound for Wayne State while also appearing in nine games and starting four games as either a designated hitter, pinch hitter, or outfielder...was 4-0 on the season with an ERA of 5.64 in 30.1 innings pitched...struck out 19 batters and walked seven while allowing 39 hits and 21 runs (19 earned)...recorded five strikeouts and one walk while allowing seven hits and one run to get his first win of the season on 3-18-12 vs. Bemidji State...threw his longest outing of the year going 6.0 innings to improve to 4-0 on the season on 5-6-12 vs. Concordia-St. Paul notching four strikeouts and no walks...was 3 for 19 at the plate with four RBI's and one run scored...went 1 for 3 with two RBI's and was hit by a pitch at Upper Iowa on 4-18-12.

2011: Sat out season with medical redshirt.

2010: Made 11 appearances with two starts as a freshman, going 1-3 with a 4.94 ERA...worked 23 2/3 innings, allowing 34 hits and 20 runs (13 earned) with 14 strikeouts and 10 walks...worked five innings in start vs. Northern State on 4-17-10, allowing just one run on five hits with three strikeouts to earn first win...also made start vs. Minnesota Duluth on 3-29-10, allowing just three runs in five innings.

High School: Frericks was a two-time All Central Lakes Conference selection and posted a 5-2 record in 2008 with a 1.12 ERA striking out 58 batters in 50 innings pitched...was a three year starter and four year letter winner in baseball and a two-year starter in basketball and has served as captain on both teams.
