Wayne State College

2013:  Played in 30 matches and 94 sets with 26 starts at middle hitter, averaging 2.01 kills and 0.71 blocks per set to rank fourth on the team in kills and third in blocks per set...had six matches with 10 or more kills highlighted by career-high 18 kills in 31 attacks for .484 hitting percentage in 3-2 loss to #20 Northern State on 11-8-13...had 13 kills in two other matches, at Winona State (10-19-13) and vs. #4 Minnesota Duluth (10-25-13)...had season-high five blocks in three matches...selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team for a second straight season.

2012: Malm appeared in 85 sets and started 23 matches at middle hitter for Wayne State before being lost for the rest of the season due to injury...she ranked second on the team in blocks with 80 (0.94 per set) while having 97 kills and 31 digs...Malm had a season-high nine blocks (nine assisted) vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 11/1/2012 and had a season-high nine kills at Upper Iowa on 11/9/2012...her highest hitting percentage of the season was .750 with six kills and no errors on eight total attacks at Minnesota, Crookston on 9/21/2012...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.


Before Wayne State: Played two seasons at Creighton University...saw action in eight matches during her two years with the Blue Jays.

High School: Graduate of Central City High School...was a four year letter winner in volleyball, basketball and track and was a two-time team MVP in each sport...as a senior earned Second Team All-State honors in volleyball averaging 4.80 kills, 2.03 digs, 0.92 blocks and 0.92 aces per set...was First Team All-Central Conference in basketball two seasons and was a two-time conference champion in the high jump in track and field...placed second All-Class in the high jump as a junior clearing 5' 7".
