Biography
2014-15: Named Second Team All-NSIC after averaging 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while making 33 starts at shooting guard...shot 42 percent from the field (124-295), 35.3 percent from the 3-point line (61-173) and led the NSIC and finished second in NCAA Division II in free throw percentage at 92.6 percent, making 100 of 108 attempts...ranked eighth in the NSIC in steals per game (1.8) and ninth in 3-point field goals per game (1.8)...finished WSC career ranked second in 3-point field goals (242) fifth in steals (177) and eighth in scoring with 1,444 points...had 24 games in double figures, led by season-high 23 points vs. Minnesota State (1/9/15) that included a 10 for 10 night at the free throw line...scored 22 points with six assists at Minot State (1/30/15)...named to the Capital One Academic All-District VII Second Team with 3.97 grade point average majoring in mathematics education and was selected Cunningham Scholar Athlete of the Year for second straight season.
2013-14: Started all 33 games at shooting guard for WSC as a junior and became latest member of the 1,000 point club after scoring career-high 27 points in Central Regional win over Pittsburg State on 3/14/14...ranked second on the team in scoring at 11.5 points per game and led the team in 3-pointers with 68...shot 42.8 percent from the field (121-283), 38 percent behind the 3-point line (68-179) and 85.2 percent from the foul line (69-81)...ranked ninth in the NSIC in 3-point field goals per game (2.06) and 10th in free throw percentage...had 19 games scoring in double figures with five games of 20 or more points...tied career-high with nine rebounds at Upper Iowa (2/22/14) and had career-high five assists vs. Southwest Minnesota State (1/24/14)...named to the North Star Invitational All-Tournament Team in Alaska...one of five Wildcat players selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2012-13: Started all 27 games for the Wildcats at guard during sophomore season...ranked second on the team in scoring with 371 points to average 13.7 points per game, ranking 12th in the NSIC...led the team in 3 point field goals with 55...ranked eighth in the NSIC in 3 point field goals per game with 2.04 and was 13th in steals per game with 1.81...also led WSC in minutes played per game with 33.1...set a new career high with 26 points at Bemidji State on 1/12/13...set a new career high twice with five 3 pointers in a game against William Penn and St. Cloud State...also had a career high five steals at Southwest Minnesota State on 2/15/13...grabbed a career high nine rebounds on 12/7/12 agains Sioux Falls...shot 79.4% from the free throw line making 50 of 63 free throws...selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2011-12: Named to the 2011-12 NSIC All-Tournament Team after averaging 13.3 points per game while shooting 14-30 from the field and 8-19 from behind the arc...appeared in all 35 games as a true freshman and backup guard while averaing 8.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game...ranks third on the team in points with 285, second in three point field goals made (58) and three point field goals attempted (149)...ranks ninth in the NSIC in three point field goals per game (1.58) and 11th in three point field goal percentage (38.9%)...scored a career high 20 points vs. Northern State on 2-29-12...hit a career high four three pointers in five different games this season....grabbed a career high five rebounds on three seperate occassions...recorded four steals at Northern State on 12-9-11.
High School: Graduate of Dallas Center-Grimes High School in Iowa...during senior season averaged 16.5 points, 4.37 steals and 3.2 rebounds per game helping her team to a 20-4 record...was selected to the Iowa Newspaper Association Class 3A First Team All-State Squad as a senior...as a junior averaged 16.5 points while earning First Team All-State and All-Conference honors...was a mulit-sport standout, also earning All-State honors in softball as a junior and was a state track qualifier as a freshman and junior.
Personal: Daughter of Darwin and Lynnette Yossi...born on October 9, 1992...major is secondary math education with a coaching endorsement at WSC.
