2014: Played in 50 games with 48 starts in the outfield...hit .287 for the season with two doubles, two triples, one homerun and 12 RBI...had 8 multi-hit games and three multi- RBI contests...was 3 for 3 with a double and three RBI vs. Northern State on 3/29/14... was 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBI at St. Cloud State on 4/13/14...selected to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2013: Was named co-MVP during her first season with the Wildcats, starting all 44 games in right field...hit .306 on the year with 44 hits in 144 at-bats...had five doubles, one triple, one homerun, 17 RBI's, and 31 runs scored...was named to the NSIC Gold Glove Team, as she had a perfect fielding percentage at 1.000 with 31 put-outs and two assists while committing no errors...ended the season on a five-game hitting streak and notched 11 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games...best performance of the year was against Upper Iowa, when she went 3-3 with three RBI's, a double, and two runs scored.

Before Wayne State: Played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College...in 2012 earned All-Region XI honors helping her team to a regional title and a 48-20 record while batting .314 with 69 hits, 41 runs scored and 38 RBI's...in 2011 she was All-Region XI First-Team, NFCA and NJCAA All-American Second-Team while also receiving All-American Scholar Athlete honors.

High School: Graduate of Riverside Poly High School in California...was a three year starter in softball and a four-time Scholar Athlete selection...was Second-Team All-Conference helping her team to Ivy League honors in 2007.

Personal: Daughter of Clay and Leslie Simpson...born March 10, 1992...majoring in psychology/sociology at Wayne State.
