Biography
2015: Named All-NSIC Third Team after recording one goal with two assists during senior season...was one of just two players to start all 18 games...moved from forward to defender midway through the season helping WSC win three of its last five games...led the team in shots (46) and shots on goal (23)...scored lone goal of the season at Upper Iowa (9/20/15) and had assists vs. Northwest Missouri State (9/3/15) and MSU Moorhead (9/27/15)...received the NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic With Distinction Award and was a repeat selection to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2014: Earned NSIC All-Conference Honorable Mention Honors after leading Wayne State in scoring with eight points on three goals and two assists...scored the game winning goal at Nebraska-Kearney in 1-0 win (9/10/14)...also scored goals vs. Minnesota Duluth (10/11/14) and Mary (10/25/14)...recorded assists at Northern State (9/27/14) and at Sioux Falls (11/2/14)...had a team high of 41 shots and ranked second in shots on goal at 19...was selected to the Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska Women's Soccer Team and was one of 11 Wildcat players to receive NSIC Fall All-Academic Honors.
2013: Appeared in 16 games with 14 starts during sophomore season...had one assist during the season with 11 shots and five shots on goal...credited with assist vs. Augustana on 9-15-13...had season-high three shots at Missouri Western on 9-13-13...received NSIC Fall All-Academic honors.
2012: Started eight games and appeared in all 18 games for WSC during freshman season...attempted 17 shots with eight shots on goal while recording one goal and one assists for three points during the season...had a shot percentage of .059 and a shots on goal percentage of .471...attempted a season high three shots with three shots on goal at Augustana on 9-9-12.
High School: Graduate of Elk River High School in Minnesota...was a four year starter and letter winner in both soccer and hockey while also starting four years in track...she was a soccer team captain in 2010 and 2011, earning All Northwest Suburban Conference honors in 2011, team MVP in soccer in 2011 and honorable mention All-Conference honors in 2010...Brown helped Elk River reach the Minnesota 2A State Soccer Tournament in 2009 and 2010.
Personal: Daughter of Kelly and Colette Brown...born on 9/26/1993...majoring in speech communication, organizational leadership and public relations at WSC.
