Biography
2008-09: Started 10 of 28 games at center for WSC during sophomore season, averaging 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots per game...became all-time WSC blocked shots leader during the season, breaking all-time mark with three blocks at Minnesota, Crookston on 1-9-09...has 168 blocks after just two seasons...had two double-doubles and seven games of 10 or more points during the season...matched career-high with 22 points and 11 rebounds in 70-62 win over Concordia, St. Paul on 1-31-09...had double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds with season-high nine blocked shots in 57-50 win at Colorado Mines on 11-16-08...led the NSIC in blocked shots per game (2.79) and ranked 19th in the league in rebounding at 5.8 boards per game...ranked tied for first in NSIC games for blocked shots at 2.45 per game in league play...finished the season shooting 44.4 percent (67-151) from the field and 72.2 percent (57-79) at the free throw line.
2007-08: Selected 2008 NSIC Co-Freshman of the Year after outstanding freshman season with the Wildcats...averaged 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots per game while playing in all 32 games with 23 starts...set new single season blocked shots record at WSC with 90 blocks, nearly doubling the previous school record of 52 held by Jodi Otjen in 1990-91 season...also set new single game blocked shots record with 10 blocks against #4 Concordia-St. Paul on 1-18-08...had seven blocked shots vs. Minnesota State in NCAA Regional Semi-Final game on 3-15-08...led the NSIC in blocked shots (2.81 per game) and ranked fifth in NCAA Division II...shot 50.8 percent (92 of 181) from the field and 61.5 percent (67 of 109) at the free throw line...scored season-high 22 points vs. Minnesota State at NCAA Regional Tournament...grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Briar Cliff (12-16-07) and vs. Concordia-St. Paul (1-18-08).
High School: Graduate of Columbus High School...three-year starter and four-year letter winner for the Discoverers, averaging 12.9 points and 9.4 rebounds during senior season to earn Class A Second Team All-State honors from the Lincoln Journal-Star...during junior season, averaged 11.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game to help team reach Class A State Tournament to earn All-City and All-Greater Nebraska Conference honors...also competed two years in cross country and one year in track and field at Columbus High School...qualified for Class A State Track Meet as a sophomore in the triple jump with top mark of 34' 4".
