Biography

2008-09: Appeared in all 27 games with eight starts for the Wildcats during sophomore season, averaging 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game...shot 53.8 percent (49-91) from the field...scored season-highs of 11 points at Minnesota, Crookston (1-9-09) and at Winona State (2-13-09)...grabbed career-high seven rebounds at MSU Moorhead on 1-10-09...played season-high 31 minutes vs. Northern State on 2-20-09, going 4 of 11 from the field and scoring eight points in 71-65 win over the Wolves.

2007-08: Played in 19 games as a reserve forward during freshman season...averaged 1.7 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game...scored season-high 12 points while playing season-high 16 minutes in 79-77 win over Chadron State on 11-16-07, making all six shot attempts in the game...had five points and two rebounds in 14 minutes playing time in game at St. Cloud State on 11-20-07.

High School: A graduate of West Holt High School in Atkinson, Nebraska...earned Class C-2 First Team All-State honors as a senior, averaging 18.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while leading West Holt to a 14-9 record and a district runner up finish as the Huskies fell to eventual state champion Ponca...Abner was a three-time All-Rangeland Conference selection and was named to the Norfolk Daily News Elite Eight T eam...Abner also excels in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
