2011: Sat out season as a red-shirt
2010: Was the top runner for Wayne State until suffering a late season injury that forced her to miss NCAA Central Regional in Wayne on 11-20-10...opened season with sixth place finish at Concordia Invite on 9-4-10 with time of 20:05, resulting in NSIC Runner of the Week honors on 9-7-10...was 12th out of 154 runners at Briar Cliff Invite on 10-9-10 with season-best 5,000 meter time of 18:35...named to the 2010 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2009: Competed in every meet in her freshman year as a Wildcat... had a top 10 finish to start the year placing 10th at the USD Open on 09/05/09 in a season best time of 19:31... ran a personal best 6k at the Pre-Regional meet in Wayne on 10/09/09 of 23:14 to finish eighth... just missed out on all-conference honors at the NSIC Championships in Bemidji, Minnesota (10/24/09) by two places finishing 22nd in a time of 23:42.
High School: Graduate of Pawnee City High School where she was a four year letter winner in track and a three year letter winner in volleyball...two time team captain and academic all-state selection in track and field and in volleyball led team in digs in junior season...running cross country for first time as a Wildcat.
Personal: Daughter of Gene and Jana Engelken...born on May 22, 1991...majoring in Applied Human and Sport Physiology.
