2009: Competed in every meet for the Wildcats in her senior season... finished 48th at the SDSU Open on 10/03/09 with a season best 5k (20:17)... had a top 15 finish at the Pre-Regional meet on 10/10/09 finishing 13th (23:41)... ran 23:59 to finish 30th at the NSIC Championships on 10/24/09... concluded the season with her season best 6k (23:27) at the NCAA Central Region Championships on 11/07/09...selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team for the third straight season.

2008: Competed in all six meets for Wayne State in junior year...opened the season with a first place finish at the Northern State Open with a time of 16:21 (4K)...had three total top 10 finishes on the season...finished sixth at the Dakota State Invite on 9-27-08 with a time of 19:21...earned a seventh place finish at the UNK Pre-Regional on 10-11-08 with a time of 23:30.70...ran a time of 23:50 (6K) and finished in 17th place (Second Team All-NSIC) to help lead the team to a sixth place finish at the NSIC Championships on 10-25-08...was the top finisher for WSC at Regionals with a time of 23:22 (6K), placing 38th overall...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team for second straight season.

2007: Competed in all six meets for WSC during sophomore season...just missed earning All-NSIC honors at the conference championships in Winona, Minnesota on 10-20-07, placing 12th in a time of 23:48 while helping WSC to a second place team finish...ran time of 20:14 on 5,000-meter course at the Briar Cliff Invite on 10-6-07 to finish 14th overall...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2006: Ran a season-best time of 19:47 at the Briar Cliff Invite on 10-7-06 to finish in 7th. . . Finished 8th at the NSIC Championships in St. Paul, Minn., on 10-21-06 with a time of 24:48. . . Ran a personal best time of 23:38 at the North Central Regional on 11-4-06 to finish 50th. . . Selected to the All-Conference Team.

High School: Graduate of Wahoo High School, lettering four years in track and field and cross country...finished sixth as a senior at Class C State Cross Country Meet with time of 15:53, helping team to fifth place finish...in track and field, qualified for 1600 and 3200 meter runs as a junior and earned Gatorade Award.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Kathryn Thomsen...Born on October 6, 1987...majoring in journalism/spanish at WSC.
