Biography

2017-18: Led the Wildcats in scoring at 12.2 points per game and was named First Team All-NSIC for a third straight year...also averaged 5.9 rebounds per game, shooting 48.7 percent from the field (131-269) and 81.0 percent (128-158) at the free throw line...had three double-doubles and 19 games of double digit scoring...ranked second in the NSIC in blocked shots per game (2.4) and was 10th in field goal percentage (.487)...scored season high 27 points at Concordia St.-Paul (12/2/17)...had 11 points, 10 rebounds and career rebounds and career high seven blocked shots at Upper Iowa (2/16/18)...scored 22 points with eight rebounds vs. Augustana (11/20/17)...named Co-MVP and was D2CCA Second Team All-Central Region.

2016-17: Named First Team All-NSIC for a second straight season and was voted Co-Most Valuable Player after averaging 14.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game making 30 starts and center...scored double figures in 24 of 30 games and had eight games of 20 or more points including her last three games of the year in the NSIC Tournament...shot 49.8 percent (162-325) from the field and 78.5 percent (124-158) at the free throw line...ranked ninth in the NSIC in scoring, eighth in field goal percentage (.498) and led the NSIC in blocked shots per game at 2.6...had at least one block shot in every game including season-high six at Southwest Minnesota State (2/10/17) and vs. Bemidji State (2/22/17)...scored season-high 25 points vs. Northern State (1/13/17)...had double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds at Minnesota Duluth (1/28/17)...scored 1,000th point vs. Bemidji State in first round of NSIC Tournament, finishing with 22 points.

2015-16:  Earned First Team All-NSIC honors after leading Wayne State in scoring (15.0 ppg) despite missing final seven games with broken foot...averaged 15.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game, ranking seventh in the NSIC in scoring, fourth in blocked shots per game and second in field goal percentage (.534)...made 117-219 shots from the field and 95-124 free throws (76.6 percent)...named NSIC South Division Player of the Week on 11/19/15 after scoring career-high 36 points with 14 rebounds vs. Lindenwood (11/13/15)...scored double figures in 16 of 22 games this season with five games over 20 points...produced 32 points with nine rebounds vs. St. Cloud State (1/16/16)...had 13 points with five blocked shots at Minnesota Crookston (12/11/15) and five blocked shots at Minnesota State (1/8/16).

2014-15:  Played in all 34 games as a reserve forward, averaging 8.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game...led the team in field goal percentage, ranked second in blocked shots (23), third in rebounding and fourth in scoring...had three double-doubles and 14 games of double digit scoring...shot 61.3 percent from the field (98-160) and 79.2 percent at the free throw stripe (84-106)...scored season-high 20 points, going 7 of 8 from the field and 6 for 9 at the foul line, vs. South Dakota School of Mines (11/30/14)...had 10 points and career-high 14 rebounds at Minnesota Duluth (1/16/15)...also scored 19 points with 11 rebounds vs. Bemidji State (2/25/15) and had 14 points and 12 rebounds vs. Peru State (11/28/14)...scored 16 points at Fort Hays State in NCAA Central Regional semifinal (3/14/15).

High School: Graduate of Pender High School... during senior season earned Class C2 First Team All-State honors after averaging 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, helping Pender to a 28-3 record and a third place finish in Class C2... as a junior helped Pender win the Class D1 state title averaging 15.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game to earn First Team All-State honors... finished high school career with 1, 432 points and helped Pender to a 98-17 record and four trips to the state tournament... was named Class D player of the year and All-State Captain by Huskerlandpreps.com as a junior... also excelled in volleyball and track and field, earning All-East Husker Conference honors in volleyball twice and was a four year state qualifier in track and field placing in the shot put as a junior (fourth) and senior (fifth)... selected to play for the Red All-Stars in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star game and had 10 points... also played in the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball Classic in Norfolk and scored 12 points for the Light All-Stars.

Personal: Daughter of Larry and Kelly Ballinger... born February 23, 1996... majoring in special education at Wayne State.
