2021 Indoor: Medaled at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/26/21), placing eighth in the long jump at 21' 11 3/4"... had season best jump of 22' 6 1/2" to finish sixth at Washburn/Ichabod Invite (2/13/21)...placed season best fourth at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/20/21) with mark of 22' 1 3/4".

2020 Indoor:  Placed seventh in the long jump at the NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 21' 10 1/4"...had season-best leap of 22' 5 3/4" in the long jump to place fifth at the Concordia Invite (2/14/20)...placed second at the SDSU Last Chance Invite (21' 3/4") and was third at the SDSU Division II Invite (1/24/20) with mark of 22' 1/4".

2019 Outdoor: Collected All-NSIC Honors with third place finish in the long jump (22' 10'') at NSIC Indoor Championships (5/10/19)...won the long jump at the Mount Marty Invite (4/24/19) with leap of 21' 2''...posted personal best mark of 23' 0'' to take third at Concordia Invite (4/6/19)...was sixth in the 100-meter dash with time of 11.35 at UNK Loper Invite (4/14/19).

2019 Indoor: Recorded fourth place finish in the long jump with indoor season best mark of 22' 7 3/4'' at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/22/19)...won long jump at Minnesota State Open (1/26/19) at 21' 10 3/4'' and was second at SDSU Last Chance (2/15/19) with mark of 21' 6 1/4''.

High School:  Graduate of Prairie View High School in Colorado...three year letter winner in track and field and football...also lettered two years in wrestling and four in rugby.

Personal:  Son of Michael and Heather Sands...born July 21, 2000...majoring in sport management.
