Michael Kueny Season/Career Bests

2022 Outdoor: Competed in five meets in sprint events...finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a 54.17 time at the Prairie Wolf Invite (4/28/22)...had a seventh place finish in the 400-meter dash posting a 54.30 and also ran a leg on the 4x400 relay team that finished second with a time of 3:29.93 at the Wildcat Invite (3/26/22)...earned NSIC Spring All-Academic Team accolades for a third straight season.

2022 Indoor:  Ran legs on two relay teams at the NSIC Indoor Championships (2/25-26/22) in Mankato, placing fifth in the 4x400 meter relay (3:25.74) and ninth in the distance medley relay (10:25.09)...recorded season-best times of 7.47 in the 60-meter dash and 23.45 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/19/22)...placed fourth in the 400-meter dash at the Lancer Last Chance (2/12/22) with a time of 52.53 seconds...repeat selection to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2021 Outdoor:  Ran leg on seventh place 4 x 400 meter relay team (3:21.04) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships...ran season-best time of 51.03 in the 400-meter dash to place ninth at the Central Nebraska UNK Challenge (4/3/21)...placed third in the 400-meter dash (51.61) at season-opening Wildcat Classic (3/27/21) and was fifth in the 200-meter dash at 23.88 seconds.

2021 Indoor:  Competed at six meets in sprints and middle distance events...placed second in 600-meter run with season-best time of 1:26.74 at WSC Wildcat Invite (1/16/21)...finished sixth in the 600-yard run at the Herschel Neil/Northwest Missouri Invite (1/30/21) with time of 1:16.51...took eighth in the 400-meter dash at the USD Dakota Realty Meet (1/23/21) in 52.08 seconds...ran leg on Wildcat 4 x 400 meter relay team...named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2020 Indoor:  Ran leg on seventh place 4 x 400 meter relay team at NSIC Indoor Championships...had season-best time of 23.87 in the 200-meter dash to finish 10th at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/21/20)...recorded season-best time of 52.13 in the 400-meter dash at SDSU Holiday Invite (12/6/19).

High School:  Graduate of Alta-Aurelia High School in Iowa...was a four-year starter and letter winner in cross country and track and field...ran the 200, 400 and 800 in track and field and part of school record sprint medley relay team.

Personal:  Son of Greg and Karen Kueny...born January 17, 2001...majoring in business management.
