2022:  Earned NSIC Gold Glove honors at catcher...appeared in 41 games with 37 starts at catcher...finished the season batting .220 with 18 RBI, 16 runs, six doubles, four home runs (tied for fourth on the team), 28 walks/hit by pitch, .380 on base percentage, .996 fielding percentage and caught 27 runners stealing (first in NSIC) allowing 36 stolen bases for a .571 stolen base allowed percentage (first in NSIC)...recorded three multi-hit games, six multi-RBI games and ended the year on a six game reached base streak...went a career best 4 for 4 with 2 RBI and a double vs Grand Valley State (3/13/22)...was 1 for 2 with a home run, three RBI, two runs, two walks and a hit by pitch at Pittsburg State (2/20/22)...had a 3 for 4 game with two RBI and one run scored vs. Southwest Minnesota State (3/20/22)...recorded home runs at Lindenwood (2/26/22), at Sioux Falls (4/23/22) and at Upper Iowa (5/6/22).

2021: One of only two Wildcats to start all 34 games (catcher)...batted .224 with four doubles and 14 RBI, ranking second on the team in putouts with 200...had four multi-hit and multi-RBI contests...was 2-4 with two RBI and runs scored in 8-4 win vs. Southwest Minnesota State (3/28/21)...was 2-4 with two RBI at Minnesota Duluth (4/10/21)...scored season-high three runs going 1-3 with two walks at Bemidji State (4/6/21)...had season-high three RBI, going 1-2 in 9-8 win vs. Upper Iowa (5/5/21).

2020:  Played in seven games with five starts at catcher, going 3 for 18 (.167) at the plate with five walks and four runs scored...had one multi-hit game, going 2 for 4 with two runs scored in 15-1 victory at Newman (Kan.) on 2/22/20...was 1 for 4 with run scored in 8-5 win at Southwest Baptist (2/16/20)...walked twice, scoring one run vs. Oklahoma Panhandle State (2/1/20).

Before Wayne State:  Played two seasons at Highland CC in Kansas...in 2019 season, earned All-KJCCC East Division Honorable Mention after batting .257 with 27 hits, 16 runs scored, two homers and nine RBI with 15 walks...also earned Ben Allen Leadership Award both years at Highland CC.

High School:  Graduate of McKinney North High School in Texas...played baseball for three seasons and was Academic All-Conference as a junior and senior.

Personal:  Son of Doug and Leslie Fiene...born August 31, 1999...majoring in criminal justice.
