2011: Started all 11 games at wide receiver for the Wildcats during his senior season...was first on the team in receptions (51), receiving yards (926) and touchdowns (6)...ranked four in the NSIC in receiving yards per game with 82.2 and fifth in receptions per game with 4.45...selected to the All-NSIC Offensive Second Team...had eight receptions for 133 yards and one touchdown vs. Winona State in the Egg Bowl on 11/12/11.
2010: Appeared in eight games with eight starts in the 2010 season...caught 26 passes for 522 yards with three touchdowns...averaged a team-high 65.2 receiving yards per game in 2010...caught eight passes for 138 yards against Northern State on 9-25-10...had four receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown against Nebraska-Kearney on 9-28-10...caught four passes for 90 yards and one touchdown against the University of Mary on 10-9-10.
2009: Saw action in all 11 games at wide receiver for the Wildcats, finishing the season with 21 catches for 359 yards and six TD's and averaged 17.1 yards per catch...caught passes in 10 of 11 games, including a season-high four grabs for 89 yards and a touchdown vs. Southwest Minnesota State (9-26-09)...had two catches for 32 yards and two touchdowns (17 and 15 yards) at Winona State on 10-17-09...also saw action on special teams, recording one tackle at MSU Moorhead (9-5-09) and had a 43-yard punt vs. Mary on 11-7-09.
2008: Sat out season as a redshirt.
2007: Participated in eight games during the year...Made his only reception of the season on 9-8-07 vs. UNK for 13 yards.
High School: Earned Class B All-State honors (Second Team All-Class) at wide receiver for Ralston as a senior with 45 receptions for 884 yards and 12 touchdowns. Holds numerous school records for receiving at Ralston, helping school make Class B State Playoffs in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Montgomery also excelled in baseball and basketball, earning Second-Team All-Conference honor in baseball and was selected to the NBDA Bison All-Star Team as a sophomore in basketball. Selected First-Team Class B All-State wide receiver during junior season and was a two-time All-Omaha And All-District honoree.
