Biography

2009: Finished Wildcat career with most pass receiving records at WSC...had 70 catches for 894 yards and five TD's during senior season, averaging 12.8 yards per catch...ranked second in NSIC and 28th in NCAA Division II in receiving yards per game (81.3) and was third in the NSIC and tied for 23rd nationally in catches per game (6.36)...finished second on all-time NSIC career receptions list with 207 in league games...set new NCAA Division II record with at least two catches in 46 consecutive games (every game he played in WSC uniform)...selected First Team All-NSIC South Division wide receiver for the second straight season...also named one of 24 candidates for the Harlon Hill Trophy, given to top player in NCAA Division II college football...was preseason All-American in three publications (Lindy's, Sporting News and D2Football.com)...had 10 catches for 117 yards and one score vs. Southwest Minnesota State (9-26-09) and had 10 catches for 83 yards and one TD vs. St. Cloud State (9-12-09)...finished Wildcat career with 258 catches for 3,863 yards, both new school records.

2008: Named to NSIC South Division All-Conference First Team Offense and Daktronics First Team All Super Region #3 Football Teams after making 80 catches for 1,179 yards during junior season...became Wayne State's all-time leading receiver and yardage leader during the season...averaged 14.7 yards per catch and had six touchdowns...led the NSIC in receptions (80) and receiving yards per game (98.2) and ranked second in catches per game (6.67)...extended streak of games with at least two catches to 35, every game he has played in at Wayne State...had 10 catches for 181 yards and one touchdown vs. Winona State on 10-18-08...had 10 catches for 162 yards and two scores at Upper Iowa on 10-4-08...became first WSC receiver to record back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons...moved past Byron Chamberlain on 10-25-08 at Augustana College with 162nd career reception...became WSC all-time career receiving yardage leader vs. Bemidji State on 10-11-08 passing Tavarus Johnson's record of 2,464 yards.

2007: Started all 12 games for the Wildcats at wide receiver...Named to NSIC All-Conference Second Team Offense...Posted career-high 11 receptions in the Mineral Water Bowl vs Missouri Western on 12-1-07...Recorded career-high 203 yards at Bemidji State on 10-13-07...Finished the season with 64 catches for 1,097 yards and six touchdowns...Had season-long reception of 80 yards in the season opener at Chadron State on 9-1-07.

2006: Started all 11 games at wide receiver as a true freshman. . . Had a spectacular freshman season leading the team in receptions (44), receiving yards (693), touchdowns (7) and receiving yards per game (63.0, 7th in NSIC). . . Had a season-high eight catches for 127 yards including two touchdowns against Bemidji State on 10-14-06. Named to the NSIC honorable mention team as a wide receiver.

High School: A four-sport star at Storm Lake HS will play football and baseball at Wayne State College. . . In football, caught 64 passes for 782 yards with four touchdowns in seven games and played quarterback the other two games. . . Listed third all-time in Iowa high school history with 153 receptions. . . Won three medals as a junior at the Iowa State Track Meet in 2005, fourth in the 110 hurdles (14.8), sixth in the 400 hurdles (54.9) and sixth in the high jump at 6’3”. . . In baseball as a junior, earned Third Team All-State honors as a pitcher, going 9-2 with a 1.27 ERA. . . First Team Unanimous All-Conference selection in baseball as a sophomore and junior. . . In basketball, was Second Team All-Conference and led team in three pointers, steals and assists
