2008: Named to the NSIC South Division honorable mention All-Conference team after recording 84 tackles to rank third on the Wildcat defense as a senior...had 44 solo and 40 assisted stops to go with 7.5 tackles for loss and one sack...tied for team lead in interceptions with three...also had three pass breakups, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick...had season-high 11 tackles vs. Minnesota State on 9-20-08 and had 10 tackles at Southwest Minnesota State on 9-27-08...had nine tackles with one sack for minus 14 yards at Upper Iowa on 10-4-08...had two interceptions for 59 return yards and eight tackles at the University of Mary on 11-8-08...also had 40 yard interception and one tackle for loss for minus nine yards at Augustana on 10-25-08.
2007: Finished initial season with the Wildcats tied for fifth in team tackles with 68...Appeared in all 12 games with 11 starts at SAM linebacker position...Had 32 solo and 36 assisted tackles with one interception, three pass breakups and five tackles for loss totaling minus 18 yards...One of top games was at Bemidji State on 10-13-07 when recording eight tackles and one interception...Also had eight tackles at UNK on 9-8-07 and at Concordia-St. Paul on 10-27-07.
Transferred to Wayne State College after playing two seasons at Phoenix College....will have two years of eligibility with WSC.
Before WSC: Blomquist was a First Team All-Western States Football League defensive back at Phoenix College in 2006...was named the National Junior College Defensive Player of the Week on September 12, 2006 after making 13 tackles with three pass breakups, one interception and a fumble recovery for 85 yards in a 25-0 win over Arizona Western College...tied for fourth in the Western States Football League with four interceptions for 90 return yards.
High School: Blomquist was a three-year starter and letter winner in football and baseball at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona...was a First Team All-Fiesta Region linebacker in 2003 and linebacker/running back in 2004...named Co-Defensive Player of the Year in Fiesta Region.
