2007: Played in all 12 games on the season, making two starts for the Wildcats defense...Finished his freshman season with 38 tackles, one tackle for loss and seven pass breakups...Broke up five passes vs. Mary on 11-3-07 and recorded a season-high eight tackles vs. Winona State on 11-10-07...Posted back-to-back games with seven tackles beginning at Upper Iowa on 9-15-07 and again vs. MSU Moorhead 9-22-07.
High School: Jones played defensive back at Fort Lauderdale High School in Florida under current Wildcat defensive backs coach Charles Hafley. Jones was a three-year starter, earning Class 4A All-County honors and was selected to play in the BCAA North/South All-Star football game.
