High School:  Graduate of Elkhorn North High School...two year starter in baseball and basketball...played on back-to-back Class B state champions in baseball...senior season had .388 batting average with 26 hits, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored and 2-0 as a pitcher...during junior season posted .273 batting average and was 2-1 on mound in 20.2 innings pitched with 18 strikeouts in seven appearances.
