2015:  Named Second Team All-NSIC after leading Wayne State pitching staff with 7-1 record and 3.81 earned run average...had 12 appearances with 11 starts and one complete game...pitched 59 innings and allowed 61 hits and 33 runs (25 earned) with 71 strikeouts and 14 walks...ranked second in the NSIC in strikeouts per game (10.83), fifth in strikeouts and 10th in earned run average...had seven or more strikeouts in six of 11 starts during the season...was named NSIC Pitcher of the Week on April 27th after striking out career-high 11 batters in seven innings in 4-1 win over Upper Iowa (4/26/15)...had 10 strikeouts in 7 innings, allowing just three hits and two runs in no-decision at St. Cloud State (4/4/15)...fanned nine batters in just five innings of work in 14-2 win over Minot State (3/22/15)...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2014: Made 10 starts during inital season at Wayne State, going 4-4 with a 6.80 ERA...pitched 43.2 innings during the season, striking out 48 batters to rank third on the Wildcat pitching staff...charged with 59 hits and 34 runs (33 earned) while allowing just 12 walks...pitched season high 6.2 innings, striking out seven batters in a no decision vs. McKendree (3/9/14)... struck out season high nine batters in just four innings of work in a 9-2 win at Minnesota Crookston (4/19/14)...struck out five batters, allowing just two runs over four innings to earn 5-3 win over #24 Augustana (4/26/14).

Before Wayne State: McGill transfers to Wayne State from Nebraska-Omaha where he played baseball in 2012 and 2013 and also played one season at Southeast Community College in 2011...during the 2012 season at UNO, McGill had a .205 batting average with nine hits, three doubles, three RBI’s and five runs in 44 at bats.

High School: Graduate of Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, Nebraska where he was a three year starter in football, being named All-State 2007 through 2009...was also part of two State Legion Tournament Teams in 2007 and 2008.

Personal: Son of Mark and Alison, born on 9/9/1991...major is Exercise Science at Wayne State College.
