2022:  Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen...finished the season with a 2.25 ERA in eight innings...collected eight strikeouts while giving up only two runs and six hits...opponents had a .194 batting average off Carl...had two shutout innings giving up no hits, three walks and two strikeouts vs. Notre Dame (Ohio) (3/10/22)...went two innings giving up one run with one strikeout at Augustana (4/15/22)...pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout vs. University of Mary (3/24/22) and at Upper Iowa (5/7/22).

2021: Made six appearances as a relief pitcher, posting 0-1 record with one save and 5.79 ERA...earned save with four strikeouts in two innings of relief in 4-2 win at Minnesota Duluth (4/11/21)...also had four strikeouts in two innings of scoreless relief vs. Minot State (3/30/21)...fired two innings of scoreless relief with one strikeout vs. Southwest Minnesota State (3/28/21).

2020:  Appeared in one game, allowing one hit in one inning of relief in 8-0 win over Northern State (3/10/20).

2019: Worked four games as a relief pitcher, going 0-0 with a 21.60 ERA...pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed eight hits and 10 runs (eight earned) with one strikeout and five walks...was part of combined shutout in 6-0 win vs. Bemidji State (3/22/19), pitching one inning of scoreless relief...worked 1 1/3 innings vs. Concordia-St. Paul (3/5/19)...also pitched one inning of relief at St. Cloud State (4/3/19).

High School: Graduate of Bennington High School... three-year starter in baseball...in 2017 posted a 6-1 record with a 1.87 ERA and 51 strikeouts for American Legion team while working 45 innings and was selected to the All-Star Team in the Eastern Nebraska Baseball League...at the plate, he produced 30 RBI with one homer, six doubles and three triples...has played on state runner up teams in American Legion ball in 2015 and 2016.
