Biography

Justin is an extremely fast, athletic outfielder that can swing it from the left side. . . expected to play in the outfield this spring for the 'Cats.

2009: Earned Second Team All-NSIC honors after hitting .367 with 12 stolen bases, 16 doubles, four triples, nine homers, 43 RBI's and 67 runs scored...ranked second in conference games in runs scored (37), third in doubles (12) and seventh in total bases (70)...named to the Central Region All-Tournament Team...went 4 for 4 with two RBI's and three runs scored in WSC's 9-1 win over St. Cloud State on 4-22-09...set a new single game NCAA Division II Tournament record for hits by going 7 for 8 with three RBI's and four runs scored in Wayne State's 28-12 win over Southwest Minnesota State at the Regional Baseball Tournament on 5-15-09.

2008: Earned Second Team All-NSIC honors after hitting .336 with three homers and 21 RBI's...appeared in 46 games with 42 starts (31 in centerfield) for the Wildcats, ranking fourth on the team in multiple-hit games (15) and multiple-RBI games (7)...led WSC in stolen bases (16 for 19) and ranked second in the NSIC...ranked second on the Wildcat team with 49 runs scored and had a team-high four triples...hit two of his three homers in one game, a pair of solo shots vs. Northwest Missouri State on 3-25-08 in 12-4 loss to Bearcats...had six-game hit streak from 3-29-08 to 4-2-08 vs. Upper Iowa and Winona State...had three games with three hits, going 3 for 5 with two runs scored in 11-3 win at then #13 Armstrong Atlantic State, 3 for 4 with three runs scored in 7-6 win at Winona State on 4-2-08 and was 3 for 5 with three RBI's and a homer in 18-10 win over Minnesota, Crookston on 4-5-08.

Before WSC: Transfer from Des Moines Area Community College in Boone, Iowa. . . named Second Team All-Conference.
