Biography

2026:  Voted NSIC Player of the Year and Outstanding Senior of the Year following sensational senior season...led WSC with .359 batting average recording 15 home runs and 54 RBI and ranked in the top 10 in nine major statistical categories in the NSIC...had 24 multi-hit games and team-high 15 games with multiple-RBI...led the NSIC in hits (71) and at bats (198), tied for third in home runs, fifth in slugging percentage (.682), seventh in batting average, eighth in runs scored (53) and RBI and ninth in stolen bases...named NSIC Player of the Week March 16th after going 9 for 15 (.600) at the plate in a three-game sweep over Minnesota Crookston with two home runs, one triple and 11 RBI, highlighted by 3 for 5 game with two home runs, a triple, three runs scored and seven RBI in 15-3 win on March 13th...scored season-high four runs going 3 for 5 with a homer and triple in 11-9 win over Minnesota Duluth February 27th...homered in four straight games in late March - twice vs. Concordia-St. Paul March 21st and twice against Bemidji State March 28th...was 2 for 4 with a three-run homer and four RBI in 20-10 win over Southwest Minnesota State April 22nd...other post-season honors included NCBWA All-Central Region First Team, D2CCA All-Central Region First Team and ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region First Team...named NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and voted College Sports Communicators Acdaemic All-District First Team.  

2025:  Appeared in 27 games with 15 starts at three different positions (eight at designated hitter, six-third base and one at first base), hitting .328 with six home runs and 12 RBI...had five multi-hit games with 19 hits and 14 runs scored...was 2 for 4 with a homer, double and four RBI in 19-1 win vs. Bemidji State (3/14/25)...homered in back-to-back games vs. Minnesota Crookston February  23 and 24...had three-run homer in 9-8 home win vs. Concordia-St. Paul (4/12/25)...scored season-high three runs, going 2 for 4 with a homer at Northern State (4/27/25)...earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors for a second straight year and was repeat selection for the NSIC Elite 18 Award, given to the top scholar athlete at a conference championship event thanks to a 4.00 grade point average.

2024:  Played in 11 games with six starts (five at third base), batting .281 going 9 for 32 at the plate with two doubles, one home run and five RBI...had two multi-hit games...was 3 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored in 16-8 victory at Winona State (5/4/24)...went 2 for 5 with a home run and two RBI in 19-8 win over Concordia-St. Paul (5/10/24) at NSIC Tournament...had an RBI double vs. Minnesota Crookston in 4-3 NSIC Tournament win on 5/9/24...received NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors and was named winner of the NSIC Elite 18 Award at NSIC Baseball Tournament as top scholar athlete at a conference championship event, maintaining a 4.00 grade point average majoring in business finance and international business.

2023:  Saw action in 26 games with 13 starts (12 at second base), recording .224 batting average with two doubles and two RBIs...had three multi-hit games...went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI at William Jewell (2/25/23)...was 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored in 12-5 win at Upper Iowa (4/14/23)...went 2 for 4 at Missouri S&T (2/20/23).

High School:  Graduate of Elkhorn North High School...three year starter in baseball and two year starter in basketball...helped Wolves win Class B state title as a senior hitting .298 with 25 hits, 12 RBI and 11 runs scored...earned Class B All-State honorable mention honors...posted .328 average during junior season with team-high four home runs while also leading team in doubles, triples and runs scored...was a Class B All-State and All-Eastern Midlands Conference honorable mention selection and received Academic All-State honors.

Personal:  Son of Joe and Carrie Cunningham...born March 23, 2004...majoring in international business.
