High School:  Graduate of Watertown High School in South Dakota...multi-sport standout in football, wrestling and baseball...during senior year led Watertown to South Dakota Class A State Tournament and American Legion State A Tournament in the summer...also selected to play in South Dakota American Legion All-Star Game...hit .314 as a junior in American Legion baseball with nine doubles, four homers, 40 RBI and 51 runs scored, helping team to 46-25 record and third place at Class A State Legion Tournament...posted .421 batting average in summer of 2023 as a sophomore...earned Gold Glove of the Year award in baseball...was a state wrestling champion and won a national tournament.
