Biography

2024:  Saw action in two games as a relief pitcher...threw 2/3 innings vs. Davis & Elkins (3/7/24), giving up two hits and three runs with one walk and one strikeout...also appeared in relief vs. Minot State at Eaton Field in Wakefield (3/29/24) and gave up three walks and three runs...repeat selection to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2023:  Made 10 relief appearances, posting 0-0 record with 10.45 earned run average...pitched 10.1 innings and allowing 13 hits and 12 runs (all earned) with nine strikeouts and seven walks...pitched two hitless innings of relief vs. Southwest Minnesota State (3/24/23)...fired one inning of hitless relief with one strikeout at Missouri S&T (2/20/23) and 1 1/3 innings of hitless relief against Augustana (4/26/23)...struck out three batters in one inning of relief vs. Minot State (4/12/23)...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2022:  Appeared in one game on the mound, surrendering one run on two walks but no hits at Upper Iowa (5/7/22).

2021: Sat out season as redshirt.

High School: Graduate of Emerson-Hubbard High School...was a three sport standout in football, basketball and track and field while playing American Legion ball in the summer at Wakefield...was a two-time All-District selection in football and closed his high school career with numerous school records that include 51 TD’s, 3,990 total yards and 14 interceptions...earned an All-State honorable mention selection in football and basketball and averaged 14.8 points and nine rebounds a game as a junior.

Personal: Son of Kevin and Tricia Belt...born November 27, 2001...majoring in drafting and design.
