2013: Appeared in three games as a pitcher for the Wildcats during senior season...In 2.0 innings of work, allowed five runs (all unearned) for a 0.00 ERA...pitched on 3-6-13 against Wheeling Jesuit (WV), 4-27-13 against Minnesota State and 5-3-13 at Augustana...received the NSIC Myles Brand Academic with Distinction Award in February which is given to a graduating senior with a minimum GPA of 3.75.

2012: Appeared in four games as a relief pitcher for WSC during the season...notched two strikeouts and eight walks while allowing three hits and three runs (1 earned)...in 3.2 innings of work, he had an ERA of 2.45...received NSIC Spring All-Academic honors for a second straight year.

2011: Appeared in seven games as a relief pitcher going 0-0 with 4.22 ERA...in 10 2/3 innings pitched allowed 11 hits and five earned runs with five strikeouts and no walks...threw season high 2 1/3 innings vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 5-8-11 allowing two runs on four hits...had two strikeouts in two innings of relief at Minnesota Crookston on 5-3-11...pitched 1 2/3 innings at Upper Iowa on 4-21-11 giving up just one hit...selected to the NSIC Spring All Academic Team.

2010: Did not see any action during 2010 season.

2009: Redshirted

High School: Graduate of South Sioux City High School...participated in golf and basketball as well as legion baseball while in high school...earned Academic All-State as well as Academic All-Conference honors in basketball and golf...also was named All-Conference Honorable Mention in basketball...was a Ralph Bishop League All-Star in baseball and was a state qualifier in baseball and golf.

Personal: Son of Martin and Janice Hohenstein...born on January 30, 1990...hobbies include hunting, fishing and golf...majoring in public accounting/economics at WSC.
