Biography

2025:  Played in eight games with one start at catcher, going 3 for 7 at the plate with one double and one RBI...in first career start was battery mate with younger brother Carson vs. Ohio Dominican (3/11/25)...had pinch-hit RBI double vs. Bemidji State (3/13/25)...also had pinch-hit singles at St. Cloud State (4/19/25) and vs. Winona State (5/2/25) on Senior Day...repeat selection to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2024:  Appeared in one game as a pinch-hitter vs. Davis & Elkins (3/7/24), going 0 for 1 at the plate...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2023:  Saw action in four games as a pinch hitter...had four at bats going 0 for 2 with two walks and one run scored...drew walks at Missouri S&T (2/20/23) and vs. Minnesota Duluth (4/4/23)...was hit by pitch and scored run vs. Bemidji State (4/8/23).

2022:  Redshirted.

High School:  Graduate of Millard North High School...played travel ball with the Nebraska Prospects team… as a senior posted a .257 batting average, helping Millard North to a 20-11 record.

Personal:  Son of Darren and Sherri Obrecht...born February 14, 2003...joins older brother Ryan who is a pitcher on Wildcat baseball team...majoring in agri-business.
