2019: Saw action in all 11 games with nine starts at defensive back, recording 26 tackles...led Wildcats in kick returns with 11 for 319 yards and one touchdown averaging 29.0 yards per return...had a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown at Winona State (9/7/19) marking the third straight season Wright had a kick return for a touchdown...credited with five tackles (4 solo) and 1.5 tackles for loss vs. Concordia-St. Paul (9/28/19)...made five tackles (4 solo) and one tackle for loss at Minnesota Duluth (10/12/19)...recorded four tackles (3 solo) at the University of Mary (10/26/19).

2018: Played in all 11 games with 10 starts at safety, recording 36 tackles with four pass breakups and one forced fumble...led team in kickoff returns with seven for 218 yards anD one TD...had 84-yard kickoff return for TD in 42-35 win at Upper Iowa (11/3/18)...had six solo tackles with one tackle for loss vs. Minnesota State (10/27/18)...made four solo tackles with one forced fumble and one breakup vs. Augustana (9/15/18).

2017:  Started all 11 games at defensive back and tied for fourth on the team in total tackles with 41...had 30 solo tackles and was second on the team in interceptions with four for 68 return yards...also had four breakups and led team in kickoff returns on special teams with 15 for 340 yards (22.7 avg) and one touchdown...tied school record with 100-yard kickoff return for touchdown to open the game vs. University of Mary (9/9/17)...made season-high eight tackles with one breakup at #1 Minnesota State (11/4/17)...had five tackles with 71-yard interception return vs. Upper Iowa on 11/11/17.

2016:  Sat out due to transfer rules.

Before Wayne State:  Spent 2014 season at Northern State and later attended Metro Community College before coming to WSC.

High School:  Graduate of Omaha Central High School...was a First Team All-State, All-Area and All-Metro Conference selection in 2013...helped his team reach the Class A State Playoffs...rushed for over 2,000 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2012 and 2013.

Personal: Majoring in exercise science with a minor in coaching at WSC.
