2018: Played in seven games with two starts at center on Wildcat offensive line...one of 11 Wildcats to earn NSIC Fall All-Academic honors.

2017: Appeared in two games as a reserve center...played vs. University of Mary (9/9/17) and Upper Iowa (11/11/17) and did not record any statistics.

2016:  Saw action in one game - at Concordia-St. Paul (10/1/16) - and did not record any statistics.

2015:  Did not play in any games.

Before Wayne State:  Spent the 2014 season at Midland University.

High School:  Graduate of Randolph High School...was a three sport standout for the Cardinals in football, wrestling and golf...earned All-Lewis and Clark Conference honors as a junior and senior in football and was Class D-1 honorable mention All-State during senior season.

Personal: Son of Gary and Jeri Gubbels...born August 31, 1995...majoring in criminal justice with a minor in speech communication.
