2018: Saw action in all 11 games at linebacker, recording 36 tackles...also had one fumble recovery, one sack and 3.5 tackles for loss...made seven solo tackles vs. Minnesota State (10/27/18)...had six solo tackles with one tackle for loss vs. MSU Moorhead (10/13/18)...made five tackles with one sack at Concordia-St. Paul (9/20/18).

2017: Played in 10 games with four starts at middle linebacker...had 37 tackles (20 solo) with five tackles for loss (8 yards), two fumble recoveries and one quarterback hurry...made season high nine tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery vs. Concordia St.-Paul (10/28/17)...credited with two tackles and one fumble recovery at Minnesota Crookston (9/14/17)...made eight tackles at Minnesota State (11/4/17) and vs. Upper Iowa (11/11/17).

2016:  Sat out season as a redshirt...named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year at football banquet.

High School: Gradute of Bruning-Davenport-Shickley High School...helped BDS to Class D-1 state title and a 13-0 record during his senior season...earned Class D-1 First Team All-State honors from the Omaha World Herald, Lincoln Journal Star and Huskerland Prep Report during season season playing wide receiver and linebacker...was First Team All-District as a junior and senior and played on BDS state runner up team in 2014 as a junior.

Personal: Son of Dale and Becky Elznic...majoring in industrial technology and construction management at WSC.
