2009: Sat out season with a medical redshirt.

2008: Redshirted

High School: Participated in football, wrestling and track at Wakefield High School...named All-District Honorable Mention in football in 2006...earned First Team All-District and All-State honors in 2007...was a member of back-to-back undefeated State Championship seasons in 2006 and 2007...tied a school record for sacks with 6.5 in 2007.

Personal: Son of Pat and Deb Nicholson...born on September 9, 1989...majoring in education with a coaching endorsement at Wayne State.
