High School:  Graduate of Elkhorn High School...competed in football, basketball and track and field for the Antlers...had 28 receptions for 396 yards and three TD's to go with 74 tackles and one interception helping team reach Class B playoffs...was an All-Eastern Midlands Conference and Class B All-State honorable mention selection as a junior and senior...in basketball earned All-Conference recognition as a junior and senior averaging 7.0 points and 5.6 rebounds as a senior and 10.4 points and 6.0 rebounds during junior season...as a junior in track and field was a Class B state qualifier in the 400-meter dash (12th/50.49) and ran leg on sixth-place 4 x 400-meter relay...received Academic All-State honors in all three sports...selected to play in Nebraska Shrine Bowl Game and was on North Roster.
