Will Anglin is in his third season (2025) at Wayne State, serving as a coaching assistant and working with the defensive line.
Anglin coached a Wildcat defensive line in 2024 that ranked fourth in the NSIC with 27 sacks, anchored by All-NSIC First Team and D2CCA All-Super Region 4 Second Team selection Carter Sitzman who led the NSIC in tackles for loss (15.5/57 yds) and was tied for second in sacks with seven for 37 yards.
Anglin came to WSC after coaching one season (2022) at Alderson Broaddus in West Virginia where he served as cornerbacks coach and recruiting coordinator.
Other coaching stops for Anglin include three years (2019-21) at Louisiana Christian, one year (2018) and a graduate assistant coach for two years at Northwestern State in Lousiana.
At Louisiana Christian, Anglin was the special teams coordinator in 2021 coaching the #1 ranked kick return and #7 punt return team in the nation. He was the defensive backs coach two seasons (2020, 21) coaching three All-Conference players and served as linebackers coach in 2019 coaching one All-Conference performer.
Anglin is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Northwestern State where he played safety and earned a bachelor's degree in health and human performance. He also obtained a master's degree at Northwestern State in sports administration while also working as a graduate assistant coach.
A graduate of C.E. Boyd High School in Shreveport, Anglin competed in Olympic weightlifting in the Junior Olympics winning the gold medal as a national champion.
Will and his wife Catie reside in Wayne.
