Biography

2014:  Played in six games as a wide receiver and special teams standout before suffering season-ending injury...had eight catches for 127 yards and made five tackles on special teams...had four catches for 61 yards at Concordia-St. Paul (10/11/14)...made season-high two tackles at Minot State...credited with two catches for 40 yards vs. Winona State (10/4/14) and had two receptions for 32 yards vs. MSU Moorhead.

2013:  Started the first seven games at wide receiver until suffering season-ending injury at Winona State...had six catches for 78 yards and also recorded seven tackles on special teams...had season-high three catches for 25 yards at Winona State (10-19-13) and had two catches for 35 yards including season-high 24 yard catch vs. Southwest Minnesota State (10-12-13)...had three tackles on special teams at Minnesota Crookston (9-21-13).

2012: Appeared in seven games for the Wildcats during sophomore season as a backup receiver and special teams player...recorded eight catches for 99 yards while notching seven tackles (three solo, four assisted) on special teams...averaged 12.4 yards per catch and 14.1 receiving yards per game...had a season high three receptions for 29 yards at Bemidji State on 9-15-2012...had two tackles (one solo, one assisted) in three different games.

2011: Appeared in nine games for WSC this season as a special teams player and backup wide receiver...notched 10 total tackles with eight solo and two assisted...recorded season-high four tackles, all solo, vs. Winona State on 11/12/11.

2010: Redshirted during 2010 season.

High School:  Graduate of Maxwell High School where Calhoun was a multi-sport standout starting four years in football and track and field and three years in basketball...set a new Class D1 Playoff Record in 2009 with 214 yards receiving vs. Elwood...helped team to 7-3 record and Class D1 Playoffs second round...versatile player, earning All-State honors as a linebacker from the Omaha World Herald and punter by the Lincoln Journal Star...named North Platte Telegraph Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and Offensive Player of the Year as a junior...had 79 catches for 1,122 yards and 18 TD's as a junior helping team reach semi-finals for first time in school history...had two catches for 20 yards for the South in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl on 6-19-10 and made four catches for 61 yards in the Eight Man All-Star Game on 6-26-10 thrown by fellow WSC teammate Nate Most.

Personal:  Son of Marty and Marcia Calhoun...born on August 11, 1991...majoring in construction management at WSC.
