High School:  Graduate of Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School in Iowa...two year starter in football and four year starter in soccer...earned Iowa Class 3A First Team All-State honors at linebacker during senior season, recording 68.5 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks and one interception while leading team to 10-2 record and Class 3A State semi-finals...named Class 3A, District 1 Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior...posted 48.5 tackles in junior season with 5.5 tackles for loss and interception, helping team to 10-1 record.
