High School:  Graduate of Shelby-Rising City High School...four-year starter in football and wrestling...recorded 88 tackles at defensive end with 20 tackles for loss and two sacks during senior season leading Huskies to 8-2 record and second round of Class D1 state playoffs...named All-District three seasons and finished high school career with 197 tackles...in wrestling became the school's first-ever state champion as a junior winning Class D285 helping team to runner-up finish...was Class D285 state runner-up as a senior with 44-2 record...received Academic All-State honors in football.
