Biography

2024: Started all 11 games for the Wildcats at Tight End...had three catches for six yards on the season...had two catches for four yards vs. Minot State (10/5/24)...helped block for the fifth ranked rushing attack in the NSIC.

2023: Did not appear in any games.

2022: Redshirt

High School:  Graduate of Elkhorn High School...two year starter in football, basketball and track and field...earned Class B All-State First Team honors as a senior at linebacker with 86 tackles while averaging 26 yards per catch as tight end on 17 receptions for 447 yards and six TD's...other honors included All-Omaha Area and All-Eastern Midlands Conference First Team honors...averaged 12.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game in basketball while shooting 64 percent from the field...helped Elkhorn to Class B State Runner up finish as a junior and was All-State honorable mention...in track and field was a Class B state qualifier in the triple jump as a junior...earned Academic All-Conference honors in all three sports.

Personal:  Son of Eric and Jennifer Petersen...born February 20, 2004...majoring in mathematics education.
