High School:  Graduate of Dakota Valley High School in South Dakota...three-year starter and letter winner in football...earned Class 11A All-State honors by South Dakota Football Coaches Association at offensive lineman as a senior, helping team to 5-5 record and state playoffs...notched 55 tackles with 17.5 tackles for loss on defense during senior season to also collect All-Dak 12 Conference First Team honors...named Class 11A All-State honorable mention and All-Dak 12 First Team during junior season leading Panthers to 6-4 record and state playoffs.
